Executive
The North Kent Community Forum has an executive of up to seventeen members, whose aims are:
- Promotion and support
- Identification of appropriate and quantified resources
- Fostering community involvement and citizenship
- Building the capacity of member organisations and encouraging professionalism
- To promote the establishment of a vibrant social economy
- Provide strategic planning and a co-ordinated response to strategies and issues
Chair
The Chair of the Forum is a Board member of the Thames Gateway Kent Partnership and is therefore in a position to share and promote the views of the sector directly into the Thames Gateway strategic partnerships and working groups.
The Chair and the Executive also have the opportunity to meet with the Department for Communities and Local Government (CLG) and to share with them the views of the local sector.
