The Forum exists as a vehicle to bring together the views and needs of residents and the voluntary and community sector throughout North Kent and to represent these views to local and national government bodies.

The North Kent Community Forum aims to:

  • enable the discussion of key issues and priorities
  • share best practice with members
  • encourage joint and partnership working
  • provide the opportunity for a common voice for the sector
  • promote the formation of a vibrant social economy.

This is an important networking group and has successfully brought over £3 million funding into the sector across the Gateway, including the Community Learning partnership and the Community Enterprise Hubs.
